Why am I writing this blog?
I have tried emails, Facebook, and now a blog.
Emails worked well...but some people don't check their email often.
Facebook notes didn't work. If you didn't check your status update, you wouldn't see a new note. I feel like few people saw my notes from last year.
Blog....this is a first for me. We will see how it goes, I will make it a public blog after we get home. When it is public, you can't control who sees it and that worries me. I don't want to advertise to the world that I am out of town.
Who is this for?
This Blog is mainly for our immediate family and close friends. It is much cheaper than making phone call home! Most of the places we are staying have internet and this year, Will and I won't be fighting for the computer since we have the computer and the iPad now. I also write this mainly for me. I love to scrapbook and this sort of works like a diary for me. I will print these notes out and put them in my scrapbook when I get home. With that in mind, I am still getting use to typing on the iPad and the auto spelling is driving me nuts. Exa...I bought tartan fabric...not tartar fabric! So...just go with it. This is much better than using a foreign computer keyboard. I had all sorts of funny emails because the keys z and y are in different locations in other countries...so at least this is English!

I know this is bad...but I might communicate more with you on this trip and the rest of the year. I love sharing our travel stories and knowing that people are reading this blog. It inspires me to keep writing. So please comment when you can.
